Our 2oz (60ml) sauce container and its corresponding paper lid uses paperboard lined with polylactic acid, a plant-based material. Both the container and the lid are commercially compostable to AS 4736, and when used together, form a wholly compostable product, making it a suitable option for businesses looking for alternatives to traditional plastic-lined products.
Not recommended for hot foods above 85ⷪC as PLA lining is not meant to withstand extreme heat.
