Are your “eco-friendly” cups truly recyclable or compostable?

Yes, Green Pack’s primary focus is on cups certified to Australian standards. We offer products that are certified commercially compostable (AS4736) and others that are recyclable via specialized programs. We provide full certification details upon request so you can ensure correct disposal and educate your customers.

What is the difference between your compostable and recyclable cups?

Green Pack’s compostable cups are typically made with a plant-based (PLA) or aqueous lining and break down into nutrient-rich soil in a commercial facility. Recyclable cups are designed for resource recovery, separating the fibre from the lining to be made into new products via specific cup recycling programs.

Why does Green Pack still offer traditional plastic cups?

We understand that some venues require traditional options for specific functions or during a transition phase. Green Pack provides these as a temporary solution, but we strongly encourage and specialize in helping businesses switch to our certified eco-friendly range.

What sizes do your takeaway coffee cups come in?

We stock the full range from 4oz mini espresso cups, also perfect for tastings, through to standard 8oz, 12oz, and 16oz sizes for regular coffee service. All sizes are available in both recyclable and compostable options.

Are the lids included with the coffee cups?

The lids are sold separately. For your convenience, all of our lids are designed by Green Pack to be a secure tight fit to prevent leaks for customers on the go.

Do you sell double wall cups or single wall cups?

We stock both. Our single wall cups are a cost-effective choice, while our double wall cups provide superior insulation, eliminating the need for separate cup sleeves for extremely hot drinks.

Can I use your hot cups for cold drinks (and vice versa)?

While our insulated double wall paper cups can be used for cold drinks, we recommend single wall paper cups because they are more cost effective. Both single and double wall cups are suitable for hot drinks. We also provide dedicated cold cups (like clear recycled plastic alternatives made from R-PET) that are specifically designed to resist condensation and are the most cost-effective solution for iced drinks.

Do you offer custom printing with our café’s logo?

How long is the lead time for a standard order?

Standard stock orders typically ship on the same day if ordered before 12 noon. Green Pack aims for fast turnaround on all orders. Custom-printed orders have a lead time of approximately 8-12 weeks from final artwork approval.
